"Everything I need to know about word clouds I learned in T for 2." (borrowed from Robert Fulghum)
A word cloud is a stylized way of visually representing occurrences of words in a piece of text. The most frequently used words are normally highlighted in a larger, bolder font.
So, what’s Wordle?
A graphic representation of most frequently used words. In a speech in a poem, in a book, in your head, in scripture, in a historical document, on a blog, in a wiki, on a chart in your classroom, on Twitter/Plurk, at a presentation or staff meeting, in a piece of writing, and more!
However, it is NOT limited to only frequently used words. You can create a wordle to be what you wish the wordle to be.
